Cookie notice

What ScanIQ stores in your browser, and why.

Last updated 29 October 2026

The short version

ScanIQ only stores what it needs to run: your sign-in, your event setup, and any scans waiting to sync. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own.

Strictly necessary

  • Sign-in and session storage, so you stay logged in while you work the stand.
  • Local storage on your device for scans captured while offline, which is what lets ScanIQ keep working without a signal.
  • Security and load-balancing cookies set by our hosting platform.
  • These cannot be switched off through our site, but you can clear them in your browser settings.

Analytics

We record aggregated usage, such as which pages are visited and how many events are set up, to understand what is working. This is not used to build a profile of you across other websites, and we do not sell it.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention and to complete your payment, under its own privacy and cookie notices.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to venues or third-party sites. Once you follow a link, the cookie rules of that site apply, not ours.

Managing storage

You can clear or block storage through your browser settings. Blocking the essential items will stop ScanIQ from keeping you signed in or queueing scans offline.
